ABOUT THE FOUNDERS

TIMMOTHY M. DICKENS

CEO, Dickens Consulting Group and Co-Founder, Dickens Academy
Senior Instructor/Facilitator/Executive Coach.

Timmothy M. Dickens served with the U.S. Air Force for 32 faithful and honorable years. Prior to his retirement, he was Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Director, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), and Commander, Joint Task Force—Global Network Operations (JTF-GNO), Arlington, Va. As principal advisor, he ensured a capable, trained, and effectively utilized workforce of 2,000 joint service members, 5,000 DoD Civilians, and 8,000+ Contractors assigned in 88 locations/19 time zones worldwide.

Having close to 50 years of experience in leadership and management positions at all levels, he has concentrated on Organizational Development & Human Resource Management based on his expert knowledge of individual and organizational requirements in coaching, mentoring, counseling, training and development, personnel, manpower, resources, information technology, and assessment requirements.

Mr. Timmothy Dickens’ primary focus has been (and continues to be) the “Capacity Building” of individuals, groups, teams, & organizations through executive, leadership, career, and business coaching, resiliency programs, organizational and workforce education, training & development.

Jorge Cortijo, Co-Founder and Director of Education at Dickens Executive Coaching Academy, brings over two decades of proven success with international clients in military, corporate and academic leadership development.

He is a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation and holds a master’s degree in management.

As an executive coach, he has served as a leadership consultant for freelancers, business owners and institutions of higher learning.

As a military leader, Jorge served two tours of duty in Afghanistan and has successfully led hundreds of teams all around the world over the course of his career. He is passionate about teamwork, leadership, and personal power; all of which form the bedrock of his students’ success.
